Dolan update...
We are back home after tests. Everything went well with the heart cath. Nothing abnormal. Also nothing to be causing his episodes. Dolan may not return to work until Friday. Also he should be receiving a heart monitor this week to be worn full-time. He goes back on the 8th of July for more tests and follow up. Thank you all for your continued concern, thoughts, well-wishes, and prayers. I will keep you all updated on this situation.

Another quick update...
Dolan goes to the Nebraska Heart Institute in North Platte to have some tests done on his heart and stint tomorrow. I have to have him there by 7:45am to start the prepping for the catherization. The procedure is scheduled to start at 9:15am and should only take 45 minutes if all goes well. I am being cautious and maybe too over prepared and packing for three days just in case we have to go to Lincoln. Hopefully they will be able to determine the cause of these "episodes." The bad thing is not knowing. Maybe if we knew there is at least a possibility that we could control or treat it depending on the outcome. The nurse who I had talked to today informed me that Dolan was supposed to have received instruction to quit a medicine. HE NEVER RECEIVED THAT INSTRUCTION!!!! That according to the nurse was a BIG mishap!!! She also informed me that the earliest Dolan will be allowed to go back to work will be Friday. He will not be able to move his wrist for three days and no driving for at least 24 hours after the procedure. He also may NOT take his diabetes medication for the next 4 days due to the increased risk of stroke during and after the procedure. HOW SCARY!!! Then the next instruction was to take an aspirin the morning of the procedure to lower the risk of stroke...Bad and good...They kinda cancel themselves out just a little. I guess we just have to be more careful on watching what he eats for the rest of the duration of the week. Make sure we don't raise his blood sugar level. We should be doing that anyways. I have really been spoiling him since this ordeal. Well, that's about it for now. I'll keep you updated on all of the news.

New pictures...
Since we have been home I have been taking lots of pictures. I can honestly say that what happened with Dolan scared me silly!!! Now I feel that we need more pictures so if anything should happen to either of us the girls will have pictures to go along with the memories. Today we went to church. Dolan was feeling good in the morning but may have over did it at church. We were working in the nursery and I think those little fellers may have wore him out. We had planned on going to the "family fun picnic BBQ" today but Dolan needed his rest. Here are just a few pictures from today.
This robin was singing a song this evening while I was in the garden. I looked around trying to find him for quite a while. He was perched on the very top of the tank house.
This is Teenie our shop cat. She is also Izzy's mommy.
A nest of four eggs. This nest belongs to a killdeer bird. They lay their nests among the rocks. These birds are also thespians. If anything gets too near the nest the bird flies a short distance away and acts as if it is injured to distract the intruder and lure them away from the nest. What a sight this whole act is.
Pretending to be injured.

This was the best one that Hannah would allow. She was not in a cooperative mood for pictures.
"MOM!!!Hurry up!!!Don't want my picture taken!!!"
"I have a rock."
"Not as tasty as it looked."

YAY!!!
Dolan is home!!!!
He was he was discharged around 10am. The doctors are still unsure as to what is the cause. He has to call and schedule with the cardiologist Monday morning to have a heart catheterization done just to check everything out. They have also took him off of some meds. Thank you all again for the prayers. I will keep you posted on all that happens.

Quick update...
First I want to thank every one for their prayers, thoughts, and well wishes. It means so very much to us right now.
Dolan is still in the hospital. He was supposed to be released today after seeing the cardiologist but it didn't happen that way. He is stable and has not had another episode.
To get you caught up quickly...
We still don't know what happened or what is causing the "episodes". Dolan's blood pressure and heart rate dropped extremely low. It had gone so low that on the way to work the other morning he had to pull over due to not feeling well and ended up passing out. Come to find out he is very lucky. The "episode" that the doctors were able to monitor was "mild" yet very dangerous.
B/P 84/46
Heart rate was only in the mid 30's.
He is now stable and all is within the normal ranges.
This was and is not a heart attack and due to the other symptoms the doctors are unsure as to what is causing this.
I will keep you posted on his progress.
Again thank you all.

Random pictures...
These are just some random pictures that I took over the weekend into today.
This one is of the first of a series of small rose gardens completed. Behind it you can see the third one in progress.
The second rose garden kind of completed. More rose bushes will be added at a later date.
Hannah and her "baby-sitter" Izzy. Izzy keeps Hannah occupied while we are outside. Hannah loves her "Is-see"!

One down...and a lot to go...
We have been trying to do some "landscaping" for quite some time now. We finally agreed on a design scheme and are now putting it into action. I am truly impressed with how it is starting to look...But then again anything is better than what is was...a sea of dead brown for so long. Jasmyn even got into it. She helped with leveling of the stones, placement, edging, filling, digging, just the whole thing. It was nice to see her playing in the dirt. She was never a dirt person, so this was something to see.
Hannah helped too!

I will post a picture of the finished product later. By the time they finished, Hannah and I had already gone in for the night.

The BIG 30!!!
Well, today I turn 30. People have always made a big deal over turning thirty. Guess what!?!
I don't feel any older (or wiser) then I did yesterday. Ha ha.
Well, OK, maybe a little older.
This was the cake I decorated for the day.
To celebrate we are going to go watch the 4hymns perform tonight. We went last year and enjoyed it. Family fun in the park. =)
Finally, it's a start...
Dolan finally got a start on preparing for the new lawn...It is still being prepared, but it is a start.
I think it's the age!!! =D
