Jasmyn's Home!!!
Jasmyn finally came home today from her vacation with her Aunt and Uncle in Denver. She had such a great time! Elitch 's, Water World, 2 movies, got stung by a bee, fell down some stairs, pinched her fingers in a drawer, and LOTS OF SHOPPING!!! Not to mention another Jonas Brother's concert. Not that the last was all that exciting for her. ;) By this top picture you can see just how excited she was for it to end. Not very. According to Jennifer, Jasmyn was a wonderful house guest. She let her Aunt rest when needed and even helped pick up. Ah, now only if she would do that at home. :)
I even missed her ramblings on the Jonas Brothers.

Poor Girl...
Hannah woke this morning with a swollen eye. I am unsure as of what is the cause and it doesn't seem to be bothering her any. Here are some shots of it. And yes it was very difficult to get a good picture of it. She is just too squirmy!!!

The difference between these two faces amaze me. She doesn't even look like the same kid in the pictures. What a little goof!

swimming and cell phone cleaning...
Today we went to the pool in town. Hannah absolutely loved it! We did have to leave early due to the fact that skinny babes and "little swimmers" don't mix. Hannah's swimsuit held the little swimmer on but it still didn't fit around the waist or thighs. Our time was cut short when I noticed she was stinky...I checked her and good thing she was out of the pool otherwise the 'messy' probably would have been in it.

A little R&R...
The summer is more then half-way over. With Dolan's medical, work, and farm we have had little time to enjoy ourselves without the stress of this and that. We decided Saturday morning that we were going out to get away and just enjoy!!! We had planned a trip to Ash Hollow and Windlass hill. Just a nice little day trip. As we were heading to Ogallala, we talked about camping and what all was needed for a family camping trip. At that we took another turn in our outing and headed to Cabela's. We are now the proud owners of camping equipment! While at Cabela's, Hannah had a blast! She enjoyed the fish display and all the animals except the bear. If we even headed in the direction of the bear she screamed! I didn't take my camera into Cabela's so no pics. After our shopping extravaganza, we decided to take the long way home. OK, more like an out of the way - way home. We went through Sterling to find our way home from Cabela's. In Sterling we found a nice park and stopped and played for an hour. We finally made it home around midnight.
Jasmyn is officially enjoying herself in Denver for the week. She has big plans of water-parks, amusement parks, and shopping. She also gets a very nice treat of going to her Aunties doctor appointment to find out the gender of her cousin! She is SO excited!
Here are some pics taken at the park in Sterling.

All tuckered out and ready to go!

Thoughts....
Today is an emotional day for me. I have been busy with the old baby stuff. This morning I pulled out quite a few baby items. My brother is preparing to have a little one in October and it appears that Dolan and I are done having children. My brother and his wife are needing items and we have quite a few. My sister-in-law is willing to take what we have. I have been cleaning up and washing. As I handle each item I get flooded with the precious memories that were made. The car seat that Hannah rode home in from the hospital, the bouncy chair that she spent many hours in cooing, the walker that she played in, etc... I had already given Jasmyn's stuff away 10 years ago so we had to start over with Hannah.
This is hard for me because even though I had realized that we were done with children I still had hope. Giving it all away just seems that I am now closing the door on even the hope of having more. I guess this is just another step. It is just making it easier for when i go see the doctor next Friday.
I am thankful for my Husband and my two beautiful girls. They brighten my life more and more everyday! My girls are each unique and precious. I am so grateful that God has blessed Dolan and I with them. It is true that the love of God can be seen. He has shown it to me through my family.
Even though today is a sad day for me, I am still full of joy!
