All Hallows Eve...

Happy Halloween!!! We have been busy preparing for this event and another birthday just right around the corner. We were going to have a big birthday party for Hannah this year but with all the illness going around we decided to keep it family. "Baby" Hannah turns 3 Wednesday the 4th of November.

We have enjoyed some snow here. The girls had a blast outside being in it.

And Jerusha the witch. Jerusha started out weighing in over 100lbs. She still weighs at least a hundred. They are all still on my dining room table. Dolan doesn't want to move it again.

Jasmyn is officially a teenager! That's right. She turned 13 on the 6th of October. With this new stage in life came a new challenge as well. She played in her first volleyball game the Saturday after her birthday. Jasmyn usually is the score keeper and the team was short a player so she got a uniform. Jasmyn is not into sports and really did not want to do it. She did step up to the challenge though and actually did quite well. She does practice with them everyday and knew the basics. The team was really supportive and encouraging. In her first game she scored 4 of the points! Not bad at all!Ready to serve.

After the volleyball tournament was over Jasmyn had a sleepover to celebrate her birthday. The girls had fun playing games and playing with the puppies.

After the sleepover Jasmyn played with Hannah. Here they are going for a stick horsey ride.

Give a child 5 minutes and...

...they can have a great time.

...they can make a huge mess!
...they will be proud of their accomplishments...

Even if it does turn their hair white!

...they could even get the worlds biggest sliver!

But most of all, you give a child 5 minutes and you give them the world and they give you a heart full of joy!

Heritage Days...

We recently went and enjoyed the Heritage Days parade in McCook. The Wauneta-Palisade band played in it so we got a 2 for 1 deal!

This Pogo stick was the best of the whole parade (according to Hannah)!

Notice the band-aid? She started out with a tiny little scratch. Now it is huge! She will not leave it alone and we have a hard time getting her to leave the band-aid on.

Our school just got these (almost) new uniforms. They sure do look great in them!

Jasmyn has come a long way this year in her music. Actually the past 6 months she has made wonderful, wide strides all over! Her tremors are almost non-existent and she can control both sides of her body much better. On occasion we will load up and head down to the local school and play some basket ball. This last time Dolan had made a comment regarding how well she is doing! Can't wait for basket ball season!
