4th and 5th

I was tagged by Renee in a new tag game. It's pretty funny, and totally random. You post the 4th pictures from your 4th folder and your 5th picture from your 5th folder.Boy, did I luck out in this! Both these pictures were taken about a year ago. The upper one is Hannah in a new outfit heading out to church. The bottom one playing with her caterpillar.

Now, I tag:

Have fun!

Artistic...

Hannah has been coloring a lot lately. It is one of her favorite activities. Today I sat her at the table with her coloring book and crayons while I did some cleaning and moved furniture. She has quite the artistic streak in her, on her, and left it on the furniture as well. This photo here is hard to see, but the flowers are now "streaked" with blue.

This piece here is her best yet...What artistic vision!
Hannah is an up and coming artist...on the move!
Please start your bidding.

Knock on wood...

Well, I thought I would give a little update on Jasmyn. Still haven't heard anything from her last appointments. I have seen improvement in her. She has been on Anti-seizure medication for a month now and Dolan and I see a difference. Her muscle jerks and spasms are barely visible and she is beginning to control the left side of her body again. YAY! Yesterday she dribbled a ball with her left hand! That made Jasmyn so happy she was beaming! I hope she continues to progress more, even if it is medication controlled. Thank God for an answer to prayer! He is in the miracle business!

Home Game...

Jasmyn was back in school Thursday after being gone Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for Appointments. That afternoon they had a basketball game at home. Both the "A" team and "B" team lost. I do not remember the scores. Jasmyn played well for not being at practice all week. All the girls played well. This is what we have for substitutions during a game...3.
In this photo it appears that the opponents have two full teams at their disposal for substitutions. At one time the opponents did substitute all the players on the court.Jasmyn checking in...
Tailor Lee, a teammate, had went for a basket under pressure and this is what the final result was...
It was alright in the end...Our ref carries a big stick.
I don't know why but I like this photo.

Jasmyn stayed right on top of the girl she was blocking...Good Job!Full timeout!

Hannah of course had to play with her friend. She is not a shy child at all!

Random and Pictures...Poor Kitty thrown in...

Here are some random, yet mostly silly pictures, from the past week. This is Jasmyn, her friend Cassidy, and Hannah all playing.Hannah took quite a liking to Cassidy.

POOR KITTY!!
The sad thing is that the cat allows this kind of treatment.
This is our Tree of Knowledge. I snapped this picture while Jasmyn and Cassidy were putting on the Christmas lights.

All the girls had fun with battery operated Christmas lights. This is our Hannah tree all lit up.
Jasmyn tree.
We borrowed this Cassidy tree.

A very nice picture of Jasmyn!
Hannah sporting her new vest. Grandma Shizuko knitted it for her. Hannah loves it!

3-point Swish...

Jasmyn had her first basketball game yesterday. The team traveled to Madrid Nebraska to play against Perkins County. Let me just say that I am so proud of Jasmyn (and the team of course, but as a mother, I am a little biased)! She is a starter for "B" team. She played a little on "A" team as well. Here is the team coached by Mrs. D with the hands in!
Hannah enjoyed the game as well! She loved the loud buzzer! She laughed and "Whoa!"-ed every time it went off.
Jasmyn helping the "A" team.
This is Hannah with a her new friend Chase. In the beginning she sat on the same bench apart from him. Then she "shh", and scooted next to him inch by inch until she was right next to him. When she finally made it next to him she started giggling.

Jasmyn passing the ball back into the game.

Half time pep talk and strategy planning.

Jasmyn had ended up getting a foul. She stopped the play and the opposing team from scoring. The picture below is during half-time explaining that her foul was unintentional..."I tripped!" No matter how it was caused, it still worked out.

Hannah made another new friend.

This is the BIG story! Jasmyn's shooting record is at 100%! I didn't get the shot, and this isn't even the "after" picture. I chose it because the look on her and her teammate's faces was similar to the looks that they had after Jasmyn's 3-point All NET shot! It was her only attempt at a basket so it leaves her at 100%. I was so proud that I cried.

The final score! Good game girls! And you may notice that there is only one foul listed for our team...Jasmyn's "unintentional" made it.

While getting a picture of Jasmyn and her friend Cassidy, Dawn popped up into the scene...litterally. Jasmyn loves this photo! She thinks Dawn is hilarious!

Jasmyn and Cassidy after the game was won!

Jasmyn played well for her first game. She fouled once, blocked and tipped a couple passes, and even stole the ball once. Stealing the ball was funny! Jasmyn has difficulties with dribbling left handed and she had to use her left hand at this moment because her right hand was being used to push away the opposing team's player. The ball stopped bouncing, and Jasmyn then quickly grabbed it then tossed it. You had to be there. It was Funny! Jasmyn so likes Basketball!

Hearts of cheer!

I decided to try to get a few pictures of the girls. Jasmyn doesn't like her picture taken and Hannah will do everything in her power to make it as difficult as possible.

The girls' spirits have been high in anticipation of Christmas. The closer it draws near, the more cheer they seem to have!

This year is a chore keeping Hannah out of the decorations...Last year she wasn't quite tall enough.

My Girls!
I had to add this photo...Hannah is showing off her "innocent" side.
