Pumpkin Patch...

This year we finally made it out to Cox's Ponds for their pumpkin patch. It was such a wonderful experience. The weather was absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere relaxing, and the scenery was romantic!

They had these signs all over and Hannah enjoyed putting her head in them.

They had a petting zoo and playground equipment for the kids.
A hayrack ride that took us to the maze and haunted garden. Hannah did well for the most part up until the end when the costumed people started talking to Hannah and walking around. She liked them all better when she thought they were fake.

Picking a pumpkin.

And Hannah's favorite part was the pony rides!!!

We then went for a ride taking advantage of the scenery. I do have to admit that this is my FAVORITE season! I love the colors and the temperatures.
I pointed out these bright red foliage along our ride. We stopped and took a look. Poison Ivy. Pretty!

Of course my pictures are way out of order.

Being goofy.

Hannah enjoying some hot cocoa. It was a wee bit chilly the night of the game...and a little wet from rain as well.

Jasmyn on "Spirit" day. Red, white, and blue.

Hannah waiting for volley ball to start. Then she fell asleep on me for the next hour and a half.

This was Wednesday October 6.

She got to be a rock star for her birthday!

Color day. Her class color was orange. Hannah had a blast with this day.

according to Hannah her sister became Tigger!

Jasmyn drew this eagle and Bronco for her class wall.

Tuesday was twin day. Her and her friend Ayla were "nerds" together.

Here they are with their principal.

It was also fire prevention week. The pre-school went to the fire department to watch videos and learn some fire safety as well as have fun.

They also got to ride on a fire truck and operate a hose.

It was a very fun week!!!

Hannah's Bountiful Hair and Harvest...

Hannah today decided she wanted to become a hairstylist. While I was in preparing supper she found a pair of scissors and went to work beautifying herself. When I walked out of the kitchen she pointed at her head and proclaimed she was "Pretty!"
So, this evening, we went and saw our local beautician. She did wonders!
The after

The before...
We had a nice discussion about not cutting hair. I let Hannah know that she is not to cut her hair. After the discussion I asked her, "Hannah, are you going to cut your hair again?"
She happily responds with, "Ya!"
She may be ornery, but she is honest!
Hannah this year had her own garden. She loves vegetables. She will eat just about any vegetable except tomatoes. Even though this is not one of her better harvests do to all the tomatoes, she was still proud none the less.

Applesauce....

Hannah enjoyed helping in the kitchen. We made applesauce. She had such a great time helping!

The applesauce turned out delicious!
Jasmyn put on Hannah's mouse ears.
Both girls are growing so fast. Hard to believe both are in school now. One high-school and the other preschool. Time just seems to be speeding by.
No time for pit stops if I am to keep up.
