Summer Break...So Far

Life.
It keeps us busy.  We haven't  done much but yet our days are packed.  We have been to the park numerous times, the swimming pool, had a couple teen get togethers, the circus, swimming lessons, youth group, softball, play practice, etc.
Here are just a few moments caught on camera.

 Hannah likes making "Water Lilly."
Hannah has also reached that stage where bugs and and anything slimy is fascinating and makes me take pictures of them all.

Hannah has always loved to help do the dishes.  So I thought nothing of her being in the kitchen while I heard water running.  When I went in and checked on her this is what I found.  I asked what it was she was doing and I received a very simple answer,
"Swimming!"
To my surprise when Hannah saw that I was taking pictures she stood up and posed.  This was the sight.  A bare-bottomed Hannah Rae.
This creepy guy only stayed for a short while til we could relocate him to a nice new home where he could be beneficial rather than a nuisance.  It was also very worrisome for us...another fascination for Hannah.
Out of all the pictures taken this is the only one of Jasmyn.  She is getting really good at dodging the camera.  At one of the teen get togethers, they found an old WWII (?) helmet.
Hannah rode her first horse and LOVED it!
Hannah  also went to her first circus.  She took her boyfriend.
Yep.  A boyfriend.  She has a friend in school and it is so cute.  They say that they are boyfriend/girlfriend.

Hannah got to ride an elephant as well.  And face painting!

A beautiful, poisonous family day...

With the extended weekend we decided to take a little family day trip.  In the car and loaded up the journey began.  Our first stop along the way was to the Kingsley damn.  The hydro plant was actually going so the girls were excited to go down and see.

After a bite to eat we set out again.  We made it to Ash Hallow and Windlass Hill.  What a beautiful area!

Mother nature at her finest.  Poison Ivy.

There were plenty of picture opportunities.

 Hiking and hill climbing.

It was so nice to just be a family.  Get out and away for a day.

The End

Hannah's  last day of Preschool was today. So, I thought it fitting to post a few pictures of the last days of school activities.
This is the Elementary Spring program.
The songs on the left and the preschoolers on the right.  They were so adorable!
Hannah on stage.  When she first walked up she gave me a big thumbs up.  Wish I would have got a picture of that.
 The little tea pots.
And bringing home baby bumble bees.

As we were heading out to go see a musical (Jasmyn did hair and make-up for the characters) we found 2 cute little kittens.  The girls LOVED them!

They are the cutest and have the brightest blue eyes I have ever seen on a cat.

This is the day of Picnic at the park, but with all the rain we have been having it turned into a picnic in the classroom.  I got to see Hannah in school doing school stuff.
Here she is at the "centers".  From what the teachers tell me she chooses the dress up center all the time.  She loves to be a Princess.
Putting tennis shoes on for P.E. time.

They had a relay race.  This is Hannah and her "boyfriend."  Yes.  Boyfriend.
Hannah and Nathan racing each other.
 And finally the picnic.
